Helen S. Byrd, ACP
Helen S. Byrd was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. Helen attended Walters State Community College, graduating magna cum laude with an Associate of Science degree in Management Technology-Legal Assistant in 1996. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was named Outstanding Student in the Legal Assistant Program at Walters State Community College in 1996. She served as Program Director of the Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Paralegal Association during 2000 and Chairperson in 2001. Helen is a member of Smoky Mountain Paralegal Association and the National Association of Legal Assistants, and has achieved certification as a Certified Legal Asistant (or Certified Paralegal), and also achieved the Advanced Paralegal Certification in Discovery, allowing her to use the designation "ACP".
