Donna Davis

My husband and I are the grateful parents of four children and grandparents of six great grandkids, five girls, and one boy. I enjoy golfing with my husband, spending time with our children and grandchildren, and learning about other cultures through traveling extensively abroad. In the last five years we have traveled to Egypt, Jordan, Peru, Ecuador, India, Ireland, Scotland, England, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.

Favorite Food: Any kind of ethnic food.

Favorite Artists: Van Gogh, Renoir, Matisse, Rembrandt, Warhol, Dali

Favorite Music: Pink Floyd, Four Seasons, Frank Sinatra and almost anything classical, jazz, or blues.

Favorite Book: I love biographies and autobiographies, especially of historical or successful business figures. Warren Buffet's book Snowball was excellent. Charles Higham has written a number of wonderful books about the British royal family going back many generations which I also enjoyed.

Last Place Visited: India

Guilty Pleasure: Sitting on a beach reading a good book.

Community Involvement: I serve on the Board of Directors for the Sertoma Center, a facility for mentally impaired adults. I also do pro bono work on health issues with Rural Legal Services of Tennessee. I serve on the Dean's Advisory Council at the University of Tennessee College of Law. My husband and I participate in various community service activities through our church and have recently become involved in the Hope for Sudan project to help provide water and food for the starving, orphaned children of Sudan.
