I live on the lake very close to our office, and enjoy getting out on the water with friends after work and on the weekends when the weather cooperates. I enjoy traveling to places off the beaten path, and most recently went to Israel and Jordan. I also enjoy live music, and attend as many shows as possible. Lately, I've been drifting toward Bluegrass and Country, because my girlfriend is a country music fanatic.
Favorite Food: Sushi and Lamb, but never together.
Favorite Artists: My father, who painted all his life. My house and office is filled with his work.
Favorite Music: Just about anything but rap and techno. I've been listening to much more spiritual and bluegrass music lately.
Favorite Book: Usually, the last one I read. I'm currently finishing The Source by Mitchner. It's excellent.
Last Place Visited: Naples, FL
Guilty Pleasure: Eating Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice-cream in bed watching True Blood (Vampire Show on HBO)
Community Involvement: I am on the board of directors of CRC, Inc., a service based non-profit corporation that provides addiction recovery services in the local community, and am active in my church. I live in a small historic home that was built and lived in by a notable architect, and this caused me to join Knox Heritage. They sponsor all kinds of events geared toward celebrating and preserving historic structures in Knoxville. I also support local music and theatrical arts.
